Hallo everyone, I am running Lyx with Aqua interface on a mac. I have written my own latex document class called acm_cit_thesis.cls which uses cit_logo.eps. I have added it to the latex tree and I am able to compile latex documents that use this class. To make lyx recognize acm_cit_thesis I go to Edit->Reconfigure and restart lyx. When I try to open a simple file that uses ac_cit_thesis lyx complains:
"Document uses an unknown textclass" To add acm_cit_thesis.cls to the latex tree I found my texmf.cnf and read from there that $TEXMF-LOCAL was set to /sw/share/texmf-local. Then I created the directory /sw/share/texmf-local/tex/latex/acm_cit_thesis/ and added the acm_cit_thesis.cls cit_logo.eps files there. In the end I ran texhash to update /sw/share/texmf-local/ls-R Why does lyx not recognize acm_cit_thesis.cls ? Theo
