That I've been doing (nice feature!), but something like Ctrl-A (which is not the same as buffer-end-select) has been around in the Mac and Windows world since the dawn of time (or so). And in many/most KDE-based apps as well. Not offering this for these users is like putting them into a super, wonderful, really powerful automobile---but one that has right-side steering (for those of us who drive on the left side). Ouch. In OpenOffice when I want to select a footnote I press Ctrl-A with my cursor anywhere in the footnote and I get a selection of the entire footnote. It would be nice if in LyX I could do the same inside containers (or a document). Perhaps this can already be done? Might there be a way to bind a key (such as "C-a") to the sequence "Home, Shift-End"? -Kevin -- Kevin Pfeiffer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tiros-Translations
