Hi alltogether,

I write a Phdthesis in psychology and the APA style seems to fit best for this. If found on the net a package with an adapted bibtex style for Germany. It contains:

   * bibgerm.sty <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/bibgerm.sty>
   * gerabbrv.bst <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/gerabbrv.bst>
   * geralpha.bst <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/geralpha.bst>
   * gerapali.bst <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/gerapali.bst>
   * gerplain.bst <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/gerplain.bst>
   * gerunsrt.bst <http://lefti.amigager.de/latex/styles/gerunsrt.bst>

I am a newbie to lyx. How can I use it in Lyx 1.3.3 on Win32 - that means where to put it and how to initialize the package ?
Can I use the Lyx function to insert cites or do I have to use ERT ?

What I need is to cite in the text like that: "Author (year)" or "Author (year, page)". I should not use [brackets] but (...) and if I am right the APA style does this.

thanks

best regards,

Leo
