i use NOTHING but the plain old Lyx menus to edit my docs - no special 
tex code, no imported images/text, no formulas, and in that doc even no 
index. So... if there's a bug in that one it's in Lyx or pdflatex, not 
the doc ;). It's difficult to have a bug in text.
