Hi Rich, I had this problem writing my thesis and I did resolve it, but I do not remember all the details, however, I think I can give you a general idee how to solve it. You should right click on the graphics and in the midle tab chose "clip to bounding box" and "get from file". You probably have do this every time you change the size of the eps. If this does not work try to turn off the clip to bounding box. I seem to remember that I had to try several ways, and that in some cases I needed to turn on "clip to bounding box", then "get from file" and then remove the "clip to bounding box".
