It's probably your dvi viewer. I am using xdvi(k) version 22.40h but I
think any xdvi not older than ten years or so should have that feature.

I'm using kdvi 1.0 and xdvi(k) 22.77.3. But anyway it's the same problem 
with acrobat reader 5.0 and dvipdfm.
