I have updated to qt 3.2.1 in the meantime. I don't think that an rpm built on my system will run on an "out-of the-box" SuSE 8.2 :-( But I have found the following RPM, which is an alternative build with the qt frontend: http://apt.bygden.nu/SuSE/8.2-i386/RPMS.suser-tcousin/lyx-1.3.3-1.i586.rpm Alberto, can you please try and test if this one is better?
