I also use paint shop pro 7 as required for any major cropping work etc. > the graphics show fine on the lyx file but on the pdflatex output the > graphics are moved down and to the right cutting off the pictures, > unfortunately the eps file from powerpoint is too big to send as > attachement to the list > thanks > vivek My steps are: (i)Once inserted into a float I set "latex size" using the custom option on the graphics form to the width I require, e.g. 10 cm and check "keep aspect ratio". (ii)For the "lyx view" I select "get Latex Size". Apply and close. (iii)Then align the inserted image with Layout-paragraph-Centre. This is working very well for me. Hope that helps Rob S
