Please read bug 698 http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=698 do you
think that it refers to the same problem?

As it was suggested, you can type Control-Enter, but then you would get a
"line brake" symbol, which does not exist in latex source, and double line
brakes show as a single ones, so readability is not very good.
