Thanks for the hint, I tried to convert my letter to g-brief.
However, lyx crashed saying:
We failed to find the layout 'Standard' in the layout list. You MUST
investigate!
lyx: SIGSEGV signal caught
... thus I "investigated". I tried to start from scratch a new g-brief
letter, incorporating the elements one by one. Actually I reproduce the
crash when I want to visualize a minipage (clicking on the minipage
button in window) that I incorporated at the beginning of the letter
body (this minipage contains the standard heading used here).
I also tried to view the dvi but I get 26 errors !
Is it possible to introduce a "personal heading" in g-brief ? Do exist a
"g-brief in lyx" manual ?
Attached is a minimal example. Thanks for your help.

PS: another little question: the "letter" layout in lyx does not refer
to the latex letter class ? I mean when I export a lyx letter file in
latex, I can't find a \begin{letter} ... \end{letter} at all.
