Hi All! I want install lyx-1.2.1-1 on RedHat 7.3. I download lyx-1.2.1-1.i386.rpm from ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.2.1.
yoda# rpm -ivh --test lyx-1.2.1-1.i386.rpm error: failed dependencies: libforms.so.0.88 is need by lyx-1.2.1-1 libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 is need by lyx-1.2.1-1 I'm sad. O.K. I look and read the lyx user mailing list archive. I finded a some letter, and I try this solutions. I install: libstdc++-2.96-122, libstdc++-devel-2.96-112, xforms-0.89-5, xforms-devel-0.89-5 and XFree86-devel-4.2.0-8 because this is xforms-devel dependencie. Now, I don't know, why said the system: error: failded dependencies: libforms.... Somebody help me! Thanks!
