Same difference. Same tools same problem same solutions. > Huh? Edit headers? What are you talking about? You posted to both lists. Believe me, lyx-devel was not interested in your rant. We're busy hacking on lyx not working around broken MUAs. (As it happens it seems the spam list has some problems. So I have moved this back to lyx-users for now). > Seems like the purpose of your post was to just to pick a fight, > John. I saw nothing in your reply except insults. "demime" is one good script for doing so, very As I answered, it is not an option. We don't want to lose the ability to attach example files, testcases etc. on *either* list, your mis-informed rant on attachments notwithstanding. > >Interscan, already have mail scanning capabilities. Mate has no obligation to protect people who run unsafe MUAs and are too lazy to protect themselves. Each and every user chose to sign up to these lists. If he was running an open relay the situation would be different. Now, although he doesn't have an obligation, it's obvious that a solution to the problem would be nice anyway, and I know Mate's ears are open. Instead of demanding things, how about you come up with some suggestions that don't cost money, and don't remove needed features, hmm ? If you don't like the list, unsubscribe. Nobody is forcing you to be subscribed to the list. regards john -- "here's a joke for you: why did the chicken turn around and around in circles. as i think she turned around; but why? why did the chicken cross the road; i think she turned around but why? why did the chicken turn around and do something else?" - Mega HAL
