Just did a quick compile on a second machine, which has aiksaurus installed. At least, aiksaurus runs from the command line.
The config routine didn't seem to recognise it, and the menu item is grayed out. I suspect I haven't configured the library correctly. After installing, I check /usr/local/lib was listed in ld.so.conf, and then ran ldconfig.
