I'm trying LyX-1.2.0pre4 after having skipped installation of the 1.1.6 series (I was wary of the table support in 1.1.6). When I use LyX-1.2.0 to open a document created with 1.1.5, the Postscript images do not render on the screen and instead I get a box with the name of the image and the message `Error converting to loadable format.' I assume that I need some configuration of LyX-1.2.0 to enable on-screen rendering of these images.
I'd welcome a quick how-to, or a pointer to where in the Help documentation I would find what I need to do to get LyX-1.2.0 to render images in LyX-1.1.5 documents on screen. Thanks, -- Ronald Florence www.18james.com
