I definitely think it should be fixed. I wonder if somebody can write a 
script that will automatically spot the output of diff -c and based on that 
change the original LyX file. That way the same pocedure can be used for 
exported text that is rimported. Very useful for work on Palm Pilot, 
definitely as long as there is no ncurses interface.
