Is there a way to have small preview snippets pop up when hovering over a cross-reference in LyX workspace? LyX has this for citations but not for other types of references, as far as I can see.
I mean something along the lines of the now-unmaintained fancy-preview package http://user.mendelu.cz/marik/fancy-preview/#presentations Several pdf viewers also have this capability, such as Skim and Texshop viewer.
