Yes, you can fully customize the toolbars https://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/UserInterface <https://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/UserInterface> It’s been a long time since I have done it, but I recall it was just editing some text files. I have even made my own toolbar icons for functions that I use a lot, but that were not included in the default set. Good luck, Steve
