Hello,
I'm moving from using LyX 2.2.3 on CentOS 7 to using LyX 2.3.6 on Ubuntu
22.04. I noticed that the new version gives more space to the toolbars
at the top of the window. Here are examples from both LyX versions
(both for "normal sized icons").
The newer version takes about 50% more space than the older version. Is
there any way I can make the newer version more condensed so that it
takes less space, while still showing the same toolbars? (Changing the
icon sizes to "small" makes minimal difference as the gaps between the
icons stay the same size.)
Hello,
I suspect that the difference is the theme that Ubuntu and CentOS7 use.
Normally, Qt (and thus LyX) respect this.
