He sent it to me privately. I won't repost it here, since perhaps there is something that he does not want to share. I will share part of it that I don't think has any private information, and that has suggestions for the problem. No problem here: checking for the pdflatex program... +checking for "pdflatex"... yes checking for XeTeX... +checking for "xelatex"... yes checking for LuaTeX... +checking for "lualatex"... yes checking for LuaTeX (DVI)... +checking for "dvilualatex"... yes But: checking for a PDF previewer... +checking for "pdfview"... no +checking for "kpdf"... no +checking for "okular"... no +checking for "qpdfview"... no +checking for "evince"... no +checking for "xreader"... no +checking for "kghostview"... no +checking for "xpdf"... no +checking for "SumatraPDF"... no +checking for "acrobat"... no +checking for "acroread"... no +checking for "mupdf"... no +checking for "gv"... no +checking for "ghostview"... no +checking for "AcroRd32"... no +checking for "gsview64"... no +checking for "gsview32"... no Well, I certainly won't argue that Lubuntu is light :) Actually, I guess they include a different PDF viewer? What is the executable name? If you do File > Export, does that create a PDF file (check with your file browser) ? If so, it seems it's just a viewer issue. Please respond to the list, unless there is something that you prefer is private. Scott
