A mistake with such a one liner could do horrible things. I'd do something like this: find ~/ -name '*-lyxformat-*.lyx' > danger.sh ### Edit danger.sh, prepend each line with "rm " ### Completely check danger.sh . ./danger.sh My way is sort of like "What you see is what you get." The 1liner way is more like "You asked for it, you got it." Did I mention that I make mistakes.
