I am getting lately my lyx file saved as #file.lyx, not as file.lyx.
I am on debian.
Whats wrong?
Wolfgang

On Linux systems, #filename# files are usually auto-saved files that
vraious editors create to allow restoring unsaved changes after a crash.
So does Lyx, I believe. If Lyx doesn't crash and your "normal" file.lyx
still exists, there's nothing to worry about. If file.lyx does not
exist, however, that would be weird.

Unfortunately, that is the case: file.lyx is not saved!

Hi Wolfgang,

What version of LyX is it?

JMarc

LyX Version 2.1.2

(Tuesday, September 16, 2014)

Library directory: /usr/share/lyx/

User directory: ~/.lyx/

Incidently, if I export as .arch, the lyx file is the correct one (file.lyx) Wolfgang
