I'm running 1.1.5 version of LyX.

This sounds really good. The reason why I have used the LaTeX function
is that EPS images need to be rotated 90 degrees. But this could be
done in Gimp.

I remembered another thing; I got messages stating that pdflatex
cannot determine the bounding box from PNG images. I set this by
hand to includegraphics command. This can be done to manuals
length under 20 pages. But when there's more pictures and more pages
one wishes not to spend all day just checking bounding boxes.

Any ideas?
