how to change the bibtex reference list?

Hello,

I use a bibtex file, that has all the fields filled in,
such as the journal title.

Now I don't want the titles (and some other fields) to
go into the reference list of my current document.

Is there a way to set the style of the reference list
in my document, without editing the bibtex file?
