Hi,
I have downloaded lyx 1.1.5 as rpm for SuSE 6.1 but I am unable to install
it properly on my SuSE 6.3 System (for PC). The actual installation with
kpackage worked well, however, starting lyx with the lyx-command in the
shell produces this error message:
lyx: Symbol 'cerr' has different size in shared objects, consider
re-linking
The same error message occurs with the Symbols 'cin', 'cout' and
'__vt_12strstreambuf'.
I have no idea what these messages mean nor can I fix the errors due to
insufficient knowledge of my system's details.
I would be really thankful if someone could help me to get a running lyx.
