I would strongly suggest to add the LaTeX commands in LyX as ERT
(Evil Red Text) rather than trying your trick.
The export to LaTeX is not designed to be reversible, and reLyX
is only provided to turn previous latex stuff in LyX: success is not
guaranteed every time.

So the idea is: if you find latex constructs really difficult
to control fron inside LyX, delay them until the very last operations
in LyX, then convert to LaTeX and stick to it from that point.
