I am pretty sure you did but I cannot find the mail right now. IIRC you
said that a fully working qt4 port could justify postponing unicode to 1.6.

I would be surprised to see 1.5 happen shortly. We still have to merge

Of course it is! 1.5 is worth being released even if there were only one
tiny feature. Many people stayed with 1.3 to let 1.4 stabilize. The same
will be true for 1.5. That said, I think 1.5 should stabilize a lot
faster than 1.4 did and I'd rather see more feature releases.
I could as well say reverse your logic:

Let's just stabilize 1.5 now and release it ASAP.
