No more crashes on Win2k when using the file-dialog ;-) One minor glitch is that the file dialog shows a generic document icon for .lyx files and not the one associated with them. There is too much spacing between icons in the toolbars. For this reason the extra toolbar doesn't fit in the original window width. View->DVI and company work, but Tools->Preferences->Converters seems all screwed up. For example, clicking "DVI->PDF (dvipdfm)" gives: From: LaTeX (plain) To: DVI Converter: latex $$i Extra flag: latex whereas "LaTeX (plain)->DVI" gives: From: Grace To: PNG Converter: gracebat -hardcopy -printfile $$o -hdevice PNG $$i 2>/dev/null Extra flag: Ditto for "File formats". For example, the BMP entry gives: Format: latex GUI name: LaTeX (plain) Shortcut: L Extension: tex Viewer: Editor: notepad Another issue is that "pplatex" seems to be spotted only when I put it in lyx-svn/bin (or in the system PATH) but not when it is in the LyX "PATH prefix". As a last thing, LyX/Qt4 seems to be much slower than LyX/Qt3 as regards scrolling performance. That's all for now ;-) -- Enrico
