You know, you use the file manager because it is more confortable for browsing a tree. Then you press the right mouse button and select "open a terminal here" because you want to do something there. When the terminal finally opens I had even forgot what I wanted to do. Then it is not only because of this issue, but a general sluggishness which gets worse at each new release. I use gnome on my blade 1000 and it is not that bad. Simply I can't stand it on my laptop. I think we can let die this thread ;-) -- Enrico
