I have placed a cygwin binary at ftp.lyx.org/incoming/lyx-1.4.1-cygwin.tar.gz It was built according to http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyXOnCygwin I managed to patch the Qt sources such that the socket code is now working (for cygwin only, sorry). As a result lyxclient is now fully functional also with the native Qt/Win GUI other than the Qt/X11 GUI. Now LyX/Cygwin is a step ahead of its cousin LyX/Win ;-) -- Enrico
