No, it has not been applied. It undoes the fix for bug 2186. I still can't see anything wrong in that fix. Sorry that I can't help further, but now you need to play with the debugger in order to find out the reason for the crash. Meanwhile we should not include the 2186 fix in 1.4.x. Georg
