It would be even better to find a different terminology. How can we
convey the usefulness of the feature? As it stands, I tend to think
that \include is not usefully implemented in LyX anyway.
Perhaps \include should be removed from the GUI? When I needed
to use this for chapters in a book, I had to look up which one was
the most useful. \include seemed mostly to be about saving time
by allowing the user to not process some files - in lyx we can do
that by using a comment inset or a branch. Also, \include has
some odd limitations like always starting on a new page.
So \input is the useful one, and \include could be hidden but
perhaps supported in order to minimize latex->lyx->latex
roundtrip damage. If latex users find \include useful . . .
