No, it means that I was "playing detective": you said X, so I concluded Y. Localization has always worked for me on linux where I also use --with-version-suffix, so I've no reason to suppose it won't also work on Windows. What I think the Windows build really needs is someone to set up a nightly compilation similar to Kayvan's builds for Cygwin, Solaris, Linux. No, I'm not volunteering; the build process needs to be fully automated first. Regards, Angus
