Can you also view and process pdf, eps, gif, jpg, and png images?
One general comment. When I choose view PDF, it launces GSview with a
very ugly looking document as the result. Come on, why do we not
prefer Adobe Acrobat Reader instead? I have this installed, and when I
open the document with this, it looks a million times better.
OK then this is a bug. I also have adobe reader installed and this will
be used to view PDF. The installer didn't find it in your case in the
registry. Please don't (re)install acrobat or GSview, I'll come up with
concrete qestions about your registry in a few minutes.
OK, could you please log i as administrator, start regedit and have a
look at the following registry entry:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.pdf\OpenWithList
You'll find there some subentries "a", "b" and so on. What are teh
values of "a", "b" atc.? (The entries are the names of program executables.)
At the moment I only check for the entry of "a" which is the bug.
