Hello, I tried the tex2lyx binary posted on the wiki on my win95/98 machines (Intel486/16Mb RAM; Pentium4/32Mb RAM, respectively), and it didn't work.
On crash landing it produced the following errors: "The TEX2LYX.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:GetFileAttributesExA" on win95, and "The TEX2LYX.EXE file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL:SHGetFolderPathA" on win98. The symptoms seem to be related to an earlier report on the malfunction of LyX on these platforms. Diagnosis and therapy must be similar either... Luis.
