you've reported, some of which I've resolved and some of which remain. Have
I missed anything?
I'm edging towards adding more screens to the installer *after* LyX has
been installed.
Optional extras to improve your LyX experience:
[x] Aspell
[x] Acroread
[x] gsview
[x] ...
followed by screens for each checked item. I'm not sure that I have the
energy though :(
