I've just installed the "Invision Power File Manager" (IPFM) here

and created a user account 'lyx' with the password 'LyXers'. Feel free to
check it out, and let me know if you find something that doesn't work
properly. I'll let some time pass before I announce this on the user's
list, so we have time to test it properly.
The reason I'm installing a separate file manager is twofold.
* The current pmwiki functionality isn't enough, even though I've written
an extension module.
* I'm planning a major update of pmwiki and don't have time to rewrite the
extension module (nor add the additional needed functionality)
Right now we can use the current upload mechanisms of pmwiki together with
this file manager, but in the next version I'll probably have to disable
the built-in mechanisms and we'll rely solely on an external file manager.
As for safety/security, it seems ok. The license also seems ok, all it
requires is that we keep the copyright notice saying it was written by
Invision.

PS. The administrative passwords etc are written down in
/home/lyx/www/pmwiki/passwords.txt
This file is only readable by members of the 'wiki' group (i.e. chr and
larsbj).
