Yes, that works when LyX is installed as /home/angus/Program\ Files/LyX/bin/lyx-1.3.6cvs and invoked either with the full path to the binary or by putting this path in the PATH environment variable and iinvoking it as lyx-1.3.6cvs. -- Angus
