Ok, Jean-Marc. I propose that on Windows machines we do something similar to Ghostscript: $ ls /mnt/windowsXP/Program\ Files/Ghostscript\ 8.33/gs8.33/ bin doc examples lib Resource uninstal.txt I propose a directory 'C:\Program Files\LyX\1.3.6' containing sub-directories 'bin', 'locale' and 'share'. I don't see any reason to make life complicated for ourselves. I'll post the 'package' tar file again once I'm happy with things under Posix and Win32. I'll need some further help for MacOS X. -- Angus
