Yes, I agree, but I think that \textrm{Ø} is rather synonymical to
\textrm{\O} than to \textrm{\emptyset} (which also triggers a LaTeX error).
But OTOH I am no mathematician.
Also, mathed does not render \AA and \O to symbols ATM, but I guess André
could fix that easily.
