It's just that I had to let go most of my "computing infrastructure" as well and I haven't found a notebook with an acceptable level of noise so far. I already bought two notebooks (including one if these centrino thingies) just to gave them back the next day because I couldn't stand the fan noise. Anybody out there still selling IBM R32's? I used to be quite happy with such a thing... Andre'
