Hello, After compiling lyx 1.3.1 under debian Linux, it can't find "libflimage.so.1". The library is installed at: "/usr/X11R6/lib/" lyx is installed at: "/usr/local/bin", "/usr/local/share". I also compiled the library myself, so it may not be installed proper ly; my incompetence is why it is not in the local directory tree.
I did find the 10 hour compile time useful: Friday night I had the computer reliably freezing up with disk, CPU, and video activity. After under-clocking 10%, the computer did not crash all Saturday: even running the lyx compile to generate CPU and disk a ctivity, with xfireworks to generate video activity. I suspect the compile would have only taken 6 hours at the console, without X. Going through the website I noticed everbody's working on 1.3.5 should I upgrade to 1.3.4 or something? regards, -james
