I have found the bug by accident. Everything is well if you remove line 86 from insetnote.C. It writes the type of the inset (Note, Comment or Greyedout) a second time. This confuses lyx when reading the file, because it is expected only once. Pseudo patch: - os << label << "\n"; Georg
