That's OK too. You can use the strategy we discussed in chemnizt about
how to handel relative paths.

No, what is reasonable (TeX-wise) is to add ~angus/doc/ to the
BSTINPUTS environment variable.

But then I am not writing your papers for you.

What I am saying is that we should look for a scheme to provide
resonable defaults. The user should always be able to modify the
string by hand and override the clever guessing.
