I guess that there are some parsing conflicts with arabic chars and latex commands. OK, then we have different handlings for nested and free environments? Then this should be unified I guess. Anyway, I just find it better LaTeX code if the environment tags are on a separate line (also, if I add a %comment at the very last item of a list or an ERT command ending with %, LaTeX breaks, but this might be a poweruser problem). Do you have any idea for a good fix (or can you point me to a right direction?). BTW André, if InsetEnv obsoletes this discussion, please step forward. Juergen.
