It still has problems with nested lists and 'deeper' stuff AFAIK. 

I do not want to waste too much time on that issue as I believe all
problems magically go away once lists are proper insets. In fact, I'd think
reLyX will stay active as soon as the environment issues are not settled.

So it is not 'ready'.

Well, it really depends on whether we want to release a dirty 1.4.0 "soon"
or a clean 1.4.0 "later". 

There was no discussion yet on that topic. The pros and cons are as usual.
"soon" means "new features for users, but extra hacks to make it work",
"later" means "put users on a hold, but no wasted work".

I personally lean to the latter currently.

You certainly won't see it before the meeting (and most likely not for a
few weeks afterwards, even if we opt for the "sooner" version...)
