on a less personal level for a moment, LyX benefits from more contributors. apart from people with no clue, of which I haven't seen any hanging out on the list, everybody should be encouraged to contribute I could be missing the point of the smiley of course, but I certainly don't feel too encouraged by that remark, and there might be someone else reading it who decides to hold off on a bug report in case it's been said before, etc. all I know for sure is I'd get more work done if I spent less time "contributing" to lyx-devel, in fact we would all get more work done if we shut down the list completely.. up to the point where we realise LyX isn't the best document processor anymore and the whole free software community suffers > > either accept some duplication or put up a banner saying, "if you don't > > read the archives, your input is unwelcome" > > Normally sure but as I said we've all been repeating ourselves a lot > already how should I make it up to you? other than not contributing, as I might have to keep it up since you don't like it ;) > john Have fun, Darren
