I can confirm this, I had to disable klipper, it started to use 100% CPU with lyx running sometimes. Also pasting into many KDE programs does not work. I had to paste into an xterm, cut from there and then into lyx to get it to work. Also selecting text creates a lot of X11 traffic if I use a remote display. Does lyx-qt use the selection and xclipboard correctly? -- Moritz Moeller-Herrmann
