Dear developers, after upgrading to lyx 1.2.3, I can't create figure floats manually any more. I tried the 1.3.0pre-2, and the problems is the same.
I create the figure float by Insert->floats->figure, then insert->graphics, and then I type the caption. However the caption does not appear below the graphics, the graphics seems to be part of the text instead. Viewing the dvi produces errors (see below). Figures in existing documents are OK, and if I copy+paste a figure somewhere else, change the graphic and caption, everything is OK too. Great program otherwise. Info about my system and setup below. Went back to 1.1.6-4 to keep working.
