Using reLyX on this .tex-file % \documentclass{article} \begin{document}
\begin{eqnarray} \eta = \left\{ \begin{array}{r@{\quad,\quad}1} +\eta' & r < 0 \\ -\eta'/10 & r > 0 \end{array} \right \end{eqnarray} \end{document} causes LyX to freeze on the output. See http://www.md.kth.se/~chr/lyx/bugs/reLyX1 for a listing of the relevant files. The problem seems to be with the '@' or something like that, which gives an error in latex. This is the output from lyx when it opens the reLyX:ed file: unkown column separator: '@' unkown column separator: '{' unkown column separator: '' unkown column separator: ',' unkown column separator: '' Tokens: \begin[{,1][e,11][q,11][n,11][a,11][r,11][r,11][a,11][y,11][},2][ ,10][ ,10]\eta[=,12][ ,10]\left\{[ ,10]\begin[{,1][a,11][r,11][r,11][a,11][y,11][},2][{,1][r,11][@,12][{,1]\quad[,,12]\quad[},2][1,12][},2] <#> [ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][+,12]\eta[',12][ ,10][&,4][ ,10][r,11][ ,10][<,12][ ,10][0,12][ ,10]\\[ ,10][-,12]\eta[',12][/,12][1,12][0,12][ ,10][&,4][ ,10][r,11][ ,10][>,12][ ,10][0,12][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10][ ,10]\end[{,1][a,11][r,11][r,11][a,11][y,11][},2][ ,10]\right\end[{,1][e,11][q,11][n,11][a,11][r,11][r,11][a,11][y,11][},2] found '}' unexpectedly, array: '[char 1 mathalpha]' and then I have to manually kill Lyx... and for some reason lyx manages to hog most of my system resources while doing this. So, even though the problem originates with a poor .tex-file, should LyX really freeze when opening the converted document? And if not, is this a known bug or should I report it to bugzilla? /Christian -- Christian Ridderström, +46-8-790 91 37 http://www.md.kth.se/~chr Mechatronics lab, Dept. of Machine Design http://www.md.kth.se
