Um, last thread everyone but you agreed this change was a regression,
and needed some mathed change to get back to the previous behaviour.
You introduced a major regression (removing the items) and a minor one
(equating the "enabled" state for both mathed and tabular). If you
refuse to fix the latter, fine. I can fix the first one myself
